Introduction
cntd ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use the cntd Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, profile details, portfolio content, and messages. We also collect information automatically when you use the Platform, including device information, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and usage patterns. If you connect third-party accounts (e.g. social media), we may receive information permitted by those platforms.
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them only to create your account and log you in. We don't sell them or use them for ads.
How we use your information
We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform; match Creatives with relevant gig opportunities; send transactional communications (account confirmations, gig updates); send promotional communications where you have opted in; enforce our Terms of Use; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore and other applicable laws, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; withdraw consent for data use where consent is the legal basis; and request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements. Singapore residents may submit a data access or correction request to Privacy@getcntd.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by the PDPA.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive data, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your cntd account and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or in-app notification and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
